You do not need an account to search – that stays free. With an account you can contribute: photos, fault reports, experience reports and operator contacts. Every contribution belongs to a confirmed account – which is why you will get an e-mail with a confirmation link after signing up. You also get API keys, data export and embedding on your own site.

That is where the confirmation link goes. We do not need anything else.
At least 12 characters, no other rule – we do not demand digits or special characters. A sentence only you would say lasts longer than a short piece of gibberish.

By creating an account the privacy policy applies. Address, password and your choice private/operator are stored, nothing else.
