📷 Taking a useful photo

  1. The whole unit in frame, from the front and slightly to one side – that shows the shape, the cables and the bay at a glance.
  2. About two to three metres away, held landscape. Any closer and the location is no longer recognisable.
  3. Display and stickers legible: the operator logo, the fault number and the EVSE ID are what somebody will be looking for later. If need be, a second picture of just that.
  4. Daylight, sun behind you. Shooting into the light leaves the display black.
  5. No people and no number plates in the picture – the gallery is public. If need be, step aside and wait.

You can upload directly from the result in the charging station search. Pictures are re-encoded on upload; any location of capture and other EXIF data are dropped in the process.
